Sad and Frustrated By More Destructive Wildfires In California
Sad… These fires are awful, human lives lost, with such massive destruction, and seem to be increasing in size and force.
Frustrated… I’m working with someone who has a great idea for a new way to help fight and extinguish wildfires, so new and different that it seems no one wants to even have a look at it… and isn’t this our lot, to poo-poo something new because it’s different.
We are seeking funding to further develop this wildfire extinguishing concept that can save lives and drastically reduce destruction, and make firefighting less risky.
Seems investors want to put money into the latest Tech or futuristic gadget rather than something that deals with The Now, something that is presently going on I guess appears too mundane… probably not enough profit potential!
And the leaders of government seem to ignore it, it’s just another budget item.
While the federal government can easily spend whatever money it wants into a deficit, yet saving lives and reducing destruction right here where we live is not one of them, and is ignored.
We have written to Senators and Congress people with no reply, and have put this idea out to the world with no reply.
I guess it’s just not interesting or sexy enough, not a political hot-button, or are conventional perceptions about something as basic as fire so locked in that something new is totally ignored… even in the sight of such loss and destruction!
Yes, I’m upset, how long do we keep doing the same things, with the same mindset, while expecting and hoping for different results? …oh no, it happened again!
How long do we ignore something that is getting progressively worse?
Once again I’m saddened and frustrated as we have enormously destructive wildfires with more lives lost… is anybody ready to stand up this time, to help us prove how a crazy new idea just might have a beneficial effect?
I know, it’s not about the latest trend, the Internet or a hand-held device, it’s only right here on the ground where our real lives are!
… please pass this around, we just may find someone interested in investing in saving lives and property.
